Despite the scoreline in this cup match, this performance was miles better than the previous week against St Hill Blues.  Withdean Youth play in the Sussex County League and were an extremely well drilled, fit and skillful team.

This turned into a real full blooded cup tie.  It was an odd game in some ways, in that we never really looked like losing, but we were 2-1 down at one stage.

This is the first post of the new season and this was our fourth league game in the Mid-Sussex A league.  Quite frankly, there hasn’t been anything worth writing about up to now and my mum always told me if I couldn’t say something positive not to say anything at all.
