For those taking part (see lists below) in the club’s tournament this coming Sunday, you need to arrive by 8:45am. Play will most likely go on until 1pm (ish). All those taking part will have been contacted already. We also need volunteers to help on the day (see below) - please help if you can (coaches/managers, please note!). The tournament is at Uckfield Community Technology College - same place as last year.

Please note, every team has to supply at least 2 people to help with car parking assistance from 12:30pm. Rather than let the coaches do it, it would be very much appreciated if we had volunteers on the day, even if it’s to help for half an hour or so. Something really is better than nothing. Thank You. Help with the BBQ would, we’re sure, be very welcome too.

Coaches, managers and any other good samaritans goals, marquee, etc are being set up from 6pm from this Friday so any volunteers should come along for that time. Set-up on Saturday is from 6am with clear up time around 7pm. For Sunday, it’s 7am start and 7:30pm clear up. Please come along to one or more of these times if you are able to help.

The club needs to know if you’re attending the rescheduled awards event this Sunday (15th). This is really important so that we can properly plan seating etc. Please can you replay ASAP. On behalf of the Uckfield Grasshoppers Management Team I’m pleased to advise that our Annual Awards Event will now be held on Sunday 15th June, from 2pm to 5pm, at the East Sussex National Golf Club.

We look forward to having the entire Grasshoppers community together both for the annual player awards and for a number of positive announcements on the club’s plans, which will highlight our commitment to improve our coaching standards and facilities for the future.

Due to the high level of interest we have organised much larger facilities and will have 500 seats, space for the younger teams to sit at the front and a large standing area.

However so we can be fully prepared for the numbers please can you reply to this email, by the 7th June latest, with the following information.
