UPDATED: Registrations and payment for the new season - by 23rd August

Well, it’s that time of year again when many of us are off on hols yet here we are reminding you of the registration process for the upcoming season! In order for players to be eligible to play in fixtures (which normally start 3rd week Sep) 2 registration forms need to be complete so we urge those who definitely know they’ll be re-joining next season to get the first part of the process (the club registration and payment) complete by 23rd August at the latest. This then gives enough time to issue the second form (league registration) and get it processed.

URGENT - Awards Event on 15th (your response required ASAP)

Dear all.

The club needs to know if you’re attending the rescheduled awards event this Sunday (15th). This is really important so that we can properly plan seating etc. Please can you replay ASAP. Thus far, we’ve only had a handful of replies. Please can you say how many will be attending, when you email Dave. Please email Dave Rogers directly at dave@daverogers.plus.com. This really is very important, and your help in this would be very much appreciated. Apologies to those who have already send a response to Dave or myself.

TIME is 1:45pm arrive for Polegate Tournament

Hi all. Please note that time to arrive is 1:45 pm NOT 12:45pm.

Reminder of Wembley Trip

You will hopefully have seen the email sent out centrally regarding the schoolboy’s international match - England vs Scotland - at Wembley Stadium on 26th April for which we have reduced price tickets available.  A coach is planned to leave Uckfield at 10.30am to allow time for comfort breaks & prompt arrival at the stadium to soak up the atmosphere before kickoff at 3pm. Leaving Wembley at 6pm we would hope to arrive back at approx 8.30pm. The cost of the coach will be £8 each making the total cost of the trip £26 per person. For insurance purposes it will be necessary for a number of parents to attend to provide proper supervision.

Grasshoppers Golf Day reminder

Just a reminder about the first annual golf day. We need at least one team of 4. The more teams the merrier. Hackers definitely welcome!! Chris Limberger said he would be willing to play. That means we need 3 more players to make one team. Anyone up for it? Unfortunately I can’t make it otherwise I’d definitely have a hack!
