Match report for Jarvis Brook Fixture

Well we finally got to play a match in 2007!! All the boys tried really hard and the matches were generally very close. They could have gone either way. There was certainly lots of support from the touch lines too - good stuff! Probably need to practice a little more on positions to make sure we get a good structure on the pitch but the bad weather hasn’t help us get that match experience which tends to help with this.

Newhaven friendly

Really well done boys for today. We played a good team and got a couple of good wins so well done everybody. Great effort! Hope you enjoyed yourselves. The weather was kind yet again. Thanks again to all parents/carers.

East Grinstead Meads Match Results

Well, we survived our first away fixture with all the boys trying really hard. It was definitely a new experience for all of us, including the less than sweet smelling loos! (which their coach did really apologise for several times - they’re trying to get them sorted). Thanks to the parents and others for meeting up so promptly and getting the boys there. Apologies about the "missing" kit - got there in the end though!

Our first match!

Well that’s our first match finished, and well done to all you boys!! Brilliant effort from all of you - hope you enjoyed yourselves and the new experience. We’ve got some great learning points to pick up in our coaching sessions, too. Remember, what’s important is having a great time and getting stuck in!
