Tomorrow’s (27th Jan) match and coaching is cancelled

Sorry folks but again it’s no go for anything tomorrow. Horam have no suitable pitch for the planned match and the consensus was against doing anything on astro-turf and St Philips have said no to us using our normal pitches. Did try and get an indoor session at one of the local leisure centres, but all were booked up. Will attempt to do something for next week.

Today’s (20th Jan) coaching session is cancelled

Sorry folks but due to the continuing inclement weather (!) today’s coaching session is cancelled.

I suggest we all cross our fingers that the weather improves for next week’s match!! Assuming it does go ahead can I remind you to let one of the coaches know if you can’t make it next week so we have an idea of numbers. Instructions for the day are in the previous post below.

First match of 2007 - at Horam on 27th Jan

Just to confirm that the match carried over from 2006 with Horam is scheduled for the 27th January but is away. Kick off will be at 10am so we should meet as per usual at Victoria Park at 9:00am. As explained before, Horam have three teams (one is a "development team") so we’ll try and get three teams out on the day to match up. We’ll play normal 10 mins each way for as per usual, but an additional game will be sandwiched in between the normal ones, for our third team - probably for 15 min each way, so the boys get roughly the same playing time.
