Our first match!

Well that’s our first match finished, and well done to all you boys!! Brilliant effort from all of you - hope you enjoyed yourselves and the new experience. We’ve got some great learning points to pick up in our coaching sessions, too. Remember, what’s important is having a great time and getting stuck in! Thanks also to East Hoathly and Polegate; the matches were played and supported in good spirit, so thanks to everyone for that. Thanks also to the parents for the various help that included the goodie bags, setting up the pitches and dismantling goalposts afterwards, keeping the water bottles topped up, refereeing, and finally, washing the kits afterwards. By the end of the season it’ll run like a well-oiled machine! Another reminder that subs must be in next week - think we’re still waiting on at least half a dozen. If you could get them to one of the team managers or Louise/Tara during the week, so much the better. Well done again. See you all next week. Roy and Jonathan
