Welcome to the under 9’s. We have 2 teams registered with the Crowborough and District league but we coach 3 evenly-balanced internal teams, called Eagles, Hawks and Falcons. We rotate who plays on what fixtures so all players get the same match involvement. We also enter a number of summer tournaments that take place after the season has ended, normally between May and July.
We play at St Philips school grounds which is near to the Victoria Pleasure Ground. Coaching sessions start early September, at 10:00 am - 12:00pm. We play matches every 2 weeks with a break in fixtures (but not coaching) during the colder parts of winter, picking up again, normally in February.
We play mini-soccer, which has modified rules compared to association football (although a lot is the same). The big difference is the aim of mini-soccer. And that is about FUN and PARTICIPATION.
